I drive a 2025 Kia Ceed and the all the infotainment and does is get in my way. Id pay to have it removed. Carplay & Siri helps me stay focused on driving in a safe way.
Wouldn’t a purpose built Esp32 with microphones aimed at the sky do a better job? It would be always on, better directional targeting.

The issue is that the letter that pops may be replaced, if it later changes its mind. Eg if you hit U, get a U popup, and sofly release while moving into the target area for J. You get a J.
For me it’s dealbreaker that it’s available via homebrew. Not a stance or anything, but when I get a new Mac I use homebrew bundle If it’s not in my brewfile from old Mac, theres a high probability I won’t get it…

Was thinking of a way to recreate MTV for my daugther, for the same reason - to explore and discover outside the algo bubble on social media.

I keep jumping between Preview and Skim. Preview for simple tasks and editing, Skim for advanced reading (think huge pdfs, where I want to see two parts of the file at the same time).
