I like software that scales. In a past life, I worked at 10gen (now MongoDB, Inc.), where I maintained (and created) Casbah, the official MongoDB driver for Scala; I also created & maintained the MongoDB Hadoop Integration.

In the Scala world I've done a bunch of work on Akka, as well as a few other fun contributions.
