The plugin ecosystem for obsidian is insanely large, and I say that not in a good way. I agree, just ignore all of that. Plain files and internal links, that's it.
Not sure. The D in R&D stands for, I imagine, development of the business, whereas the one in software development stands for development of software.
Counterpoint: This doesn't apply to Google, because Google has _always_ amortized their developer comp, but Google still layed off a thousand people. So, maybe this is just an excuse?
Of course they are. Anyone who's seen that documentary about Israel meddling in UK politics know that these people have a lot of power that isn't just military.
