Well, let's just look at the source code and we can see when/where it got added.
What I would prefer is cellular connectivity in an iPad. Throw it in the backpack to use when I want a screen, but use watch/wireless headphones while walking around, or talking on the phone.
As soon as you tie a persons bonus money to it, it isn't. You are no longer looking at the highest quality candidates, but the ones that match the minimal qualities. And since race/gender has no impact on performance…
