Why let people access BGP that don't even know that 1.0.0.0/8 or 1.1.1.0/24 are part of the public internet or that decide they can use random prefixes to "test" things? :-/

They won't. In fact it is already implemented. Try `ip -json addr`. Not all subcommands support it though.
Because one doesn't "fight" with ABS not wanting to break. It will break when you hit the brake. Same with power steering: it won't steer into a different directorion. You don't have to "fight" with it.
I thought breaking is limited by the tire/street contact, not by the break? Or at least it should be. That's why there is a v_max that a car is not allowed to exceed and a faster or heavier car will have better breaks.…
