I'm so disappointed, you win.
I suggest you too read into Jobs' history before making that claim, lol.
> Because it was cheap and he wants to support journalism. Sure, WaPa does fantastic journalism- it's obvious that they must be supported for their lengthy history of great pieces.
It almost sounds like you're implying that most of the conversation is happening on Twitter, that it is the town hall. Good. Time to break it up and enforce fair rules.

Calls of violence, deformation and whatnot are already illegal and partially enforced towards one side of the ideological spectrum. Although groups like qanon tend to sway naive users to extremism, it would be unfair to…
Spot on. It was easy to criticize the internet back then and the criticisms made sense. The tech has matured a lot since then and we're more online than ever. Every community will always have bad actors, it's unfair to…
Because it has 0 exposure in the oversaturated market.
For the same reason western countries, especially the usa, have been involved in "regional conflicts".
You're spot on. I've caught myself writing text in my editor and then copying it into Notion. Makes me wonder why I'm still using Notion if its latency _that_ bad.
I'm currently using a notebook, but I find it very limiting in the amount of information you can write down. It becomes rather difficult to maintain structure or add text later on. Pen and paper works best for quick,…
I agree with you and same here; I've moved my entire workflow to the browser. From Figma to my entire dev environment, it's all in the browser and Google handles everything else from accounts to preferences. While that…

The new site doesn't work either. I'm assuming that it's due to the traffic to r/places
I'm with you. The early builds, after they just released the canary, were so refreshing. From the UI to the UX, it just right. It's a shame they have integrated so much bloatware. The PDF reader, however, is my favorite…
Good call, I didn't think of that. I believe that the non-root approach for LuckyPatcher is to create a separate, (limited) modified APK file rather than modifying an existing, installed app
Agreed. I think a smarter approach would've been to release the patches and other changes separately, and had the official YT app be patched locally. This, however, could probably not work on non-root devices.
> Isn't vanced just a patched version of the official app? I believe that it is. Although they don't have the source code, just the binary which they have modified in order to add features, see smali[0]. Other projects…
The comment tread is arguing that it's hard to prove modified binary rather than the easier way; reuse of the trademark. Either way, both the modification and redistribution are illegal.
That's a good approach, I like it a lot. Do know a project that has already applied that flow?
I suppose that parent comment is trying to say that given our history with nuclear waste, especially with the increasing caution, it hasn't caused any (significant) incident by the waste
My only question is; why? Don't get me wrong, it is cool, but do people actually use it?
Spot on. Criminals will not be affected by these new laws. Perhaps this one is just a precursor of another law
This is really incredible. I can't wait to get my hands on the device and tinker around with it. It is giving me the same vibe as project Ara[0], and I'm here for it. [0] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Ara
