I agree, the question of “why should I bother to do x/y/z when AI can do it so much better/faster/easier?” will become more prevalent and urgent as time goes on, resulting in a sort of creative and intellectual nihilism…
I use TI-36x on my desk however recently I’ve been using Julia, Pluto and a combination of Handcalcs.jl and Unitful.jl for engineering calculation with a lot of success. Very ergonomic for that type of work.
