This is true for even mid range purchases. I was debating pre-ordering a game from Nintendo's website or Amazon and ended up chosing Amazon because of the return policy and how fast it gets delivered.
I have some friends that had hard experiences growing up from their parents because of their ADHD. ADHD effects kids earlier in development and requires some extra attention from parents (who also may have ADHD). It…
I think we are all afraid that an LLM could generate a ridiculously fast webserver and be production viable. But I'm still glad we are taking this through the ringer.
Does Firefox sell this data? That would be bad and should be able to turn off. But there's other uses for telemetry that can help free software.
I think this was Telus, not Bell. But I'm feeling the same way.
Aren't these the same models?
Where does 5.5 beat Opus 4.8?
Maybe cloudflare?
Looks like a shader doesn't support your GPU. Sharing what GPU you have might be helpful. I'm not sure if it is in the logs somewhere.
I find small food particles left on the top rack if I don't rinse. These are easy to remove (not baked on), but are super annoying and I can't understand why except that when rinsing it's reusing dirty water and not…
I thought this was explained by excess greenhouse gases. Ref: https://www.climate.gov/news-features/understanding-climate/....
The 1/20 update works well because it gives the illusion of tiles popping into view naturally as the lamp moves. This is a cool effect to get away with.
I grew up with this book in elementary school. I remember learning how complicated 3d graphics were at the time and eventually helped me with graphics in university.
Does it damage the bulb? I thought it just pulsed at a visible rate because it can't turn on consistently. Does rapidly turning off/on diodes reduce the life of a bulb?
Yeah I want to know what my topics are and when they change, and if I can disable or fudge my topics.
I still miss i.reddit. I've been trying hard to get off of reddit entirely but it hard because the community and information subreddits provide is still very good. But the other day I noticed the reddit frontpage is…

The lesson is don't send passwords over slack. If you have slack access can you easily get access to private/historical messages?
DDOSs can have more impact than you think. Such as taking down hospitals and the war in Ukraine. Not really sure which one can be worse though... https://www.radware.com/security/ddos-experts-insider/ert-ca...
The issue (I believe according to the author) is that Cloudflare is now choosing to withhold protection for Kiwi Farms, taking a moral stance and should be more responsible for other moral obligations or none at all.…
This is sick. What does anyone learn doing by working like this? Is anyone gaining experience from this? It just feels like people are ground down so they can't physically work anymore.
There's so much hype and expectation compared other software that it hits harder when bad software design appears in gaming. Bad software/project design still exists for regular software but users are more…
To me TikTok is not the "internet" because no matter how much the app gives, the user doesn't own their content. You can still write anything in a blog that you own and have people see it. To me that freedom is the…
