Any suggestion for a (reasonably) good and cheap one for new designs?
To me it sounds extremely unlikely a car with such heavy modifications would be allowed on swedish (or finnish) public roads. Very cool project though!

Indeed. The local bus transit has a digital ticket system with QR codes for tickets. I haven't actually tried decoding the codes but just seeing them and interacting with them I can tell they have gone WAY overboard…
