Where is MusicBee? Where is foobar? AIMP2? This article is a joke, the author did not do the tiniest bit of research.
I gave it "A Storm of Swords" by GRRM and it gave me the rest of the books in the series + Fellowship of the Ring. Yeah, thanks.
The thing is, in recent years it's worse than it has ever been. 100% merit-based systems were never a thing but that doesn't mean a drop from, say, 85% to 60% isn't alarming and objectionable.
This is interesting, and I've read the entire thing (in fact, I have much more to say about this then just "interesting"). But how is this relevant to HN?
Oh look, it's that age-old myth that right-leaning people are less intelligent, based purely on a small amount of anecdotal evidence, a couple of poorly-run studies and very large amount of smugness.
That's actually pretty inspiring. I think I'm going to give your system a try.
I've waited patiently, checking every few months, but I really don't think this update is all that great. It's also outrageously expensive for existing users.
Please stop strawmanning, and try not to sound so bitter.
How is that playing devil's advocate? Are you implying that if such a campaign were to hurt a candidate you don't personally approve of, it would be perfectly fine?
