I feel like I'm being forced to get a fake FB account (or a bunch of them) just for purposes to bypassing "Facebook tax" on the Internet.

I guess they're implying that Mono ins't a money maker at Novell? Mono is great and all, but maintaining an entire development platform, along with IDE and and myriad of docs, strictly for internal use may be a bit too…
