I'm trying to learn about methods of machine learning. Do you guys have any suggestions for books or sources I should use?

I've never studied philosophy. I think, however, that I have a general sense of what it is that I cobbled together from Wikipedia and discussions with my friends, and frankly it sounds like a lot of semantic nonsense.…
