That syntax looks horrendous
What is a v7 UUID. Why do we need more than 1. uuid from a random seed and 2. one derived from that and a timestamp (orderable)
If that ever happened I would nerd up on low level architectures. Get a job in a trusted company. Leak the keys. The only worthy cause to apply my patience to.

So exactly the point. Not their target market is it. SE Asia they are practically the number one selling phone with OPPO. And a minority (and I mean minority, perhaps a low thousands) will be wanting custom roms.
What quirks have you come across. The only annoyance for me was ssh agent having to uninstall the windows store version
Devcontainers running as non root. Trivial t set up. Don’t need to fanny around with a Vm
That loss of 1000 or so users will really affect them I am sure. Got to remember HN and hacker culture is an echo-chamber.
