slightly off topic: what is the motivation to use twitter for writing very long posts? splitting your message up into so many tweets seems so distracting. what's the big idea of splitting it up?
developed in java and running for decades? how long has the language been around?
Is Viidya supposed to stand for knowledge (as in Sanskrit) or is it just a play on words video-ya?
Few reasons: - Scalability issues - Confidence level in effort estimation - Resource planning (team may not be co-located)
I see your point. However, I keep reading it as "We don't (have to) assume you are stupid. (We know so)".
I rather wish they had worded it as 'We assume you are not stupid'. Or they are assuming wrong in my case?
