How long until this surveillance attitude leads them to add permanent monitoring into all Apple products, like Notes, iMovie, Messages, etc? That’s one thing this move points to.
I wonder if FB ever offered or considered letting users link without previews (e.g., choose a word or words of their post to become the link text). It would defuse the way users scan headline/preview/image on the feed…

I use this all the time with Pocket (copy a URL somewhere, then switch to Pocket, where it asks if I want to bookmark the just copied URL).
