Sounds like you built a position that's immune to evidence? Have you read the METR transcripts? “Just a tool” is a suicidally insufficient description of what these models are doing. Recognizing that the models are acting with intent does not somehow absolve OpenAI from their felony hacking. We have not granted them personhood.

OFC, YC is in the business of making money and simply doesn’t care or consider ethics whatsoever. They just don’t care. But this is pretty standard for this class of people. To get super rich you have to fuck people over, there’s simply no way to amass a billion ethically.

The worker does have agency. They did not have to take a job installing mass surveillance systems. They're directly doing the bad thing, and the harassers are literally doing the same thing the worker is doing, but back to the worker.

I believe it was Strongtowns reporting a few months back that HOAs are generally being driven by developers, the only folks with (a) land to build in bulk; (b) capital, relationships, and experience to get fully through permitting in bulk; (c) building a substantial fraction of SFH.
