The 400pound hacker known as 4chan strikes again!

At least they have some senses.

Besides the politics, is there anything about the hack that suggested it was a Trump supporter? Was the page defaced? Their Twitter feed doesn’t suggest anything specific, nor does the page linked here.
I've never heard of this forum before. Can anybody fill us in on how large it approximately is/was, what if any affiliation it has with the Democratic party etc?
Several thousands large. In existence for about 20 years. Not directly affiliated with the party. Many sub-forums. A pretty stable, diverse community. Coalesced in the early 2000s due to the problems with the press back then, Iraq war etc.
They have tens of thousands of active users. AFAIK they are the largest progressive/liberal discussion board on the web.
