I was excited to see an article about gaming in HN. I have been extremely disappointed.
VR has been the next big thing for, at least, the past 20 years. There is no indication that is going to happen anytime soon.
A picture a Mario Run to show "advanced" mobile games is shameful, as there are more complex games from the story/game-play/graphics perspective that have been out for a long time. Just look at Gameloft. If anything Pokemon Go and Mario Run are the confirmation that casual non-advanced games are King.
