Worth pointing out that this is a "prepper" site. They have an agenda in convincing you of upcoming disasters.

I noticed the same thing, and looked around for other sources, which (I guess predictably) point out that while this creates some regulatory problems in the immediacy (you need to be able to predict stocks to set harvest numbers), it's not the first time this has happened and the expectation is that the numbers will rebound.

Yeah what a surprise. Nothing about our fishing is even remotely sustainable and with fish being promoted as a health food lately, even less so.

Consumers need to face responsibility and need to start making ethical and sustainable choices!
