Local vs. Remote (1 week/month at out-of-state office)

All else being equal, which would you prefer:

1. Local job with reasonable commute.

2. Remote job with out-of-state company, but requiring one Monday - Friday office visit each month.

Compensation is the same and airfare/lodging covered for the monthly office trips.
