If there's a workaround, it's ok. Users usually post workarounds in the thread. This is in the FAQ at https://news.ycombinator.com/newsfaq.html and there's more explanation here:
If you post a link to a pay walled article people will comment based on what they think the article is about rather than read it. You flagged my previous comment and it was deleted, but this post will not lead to a good discussion if we cannot actually read the argument that is being put forth.
I imagine people who can read the paywalled article (I cannot, for this particular one) have an interest in sharing and seeing the article regardless of the quality of the discussion in the comments here.
Users flagged https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=20358781 because it was unsubstantive and broke the site guidelines. Speaking of which, would you mind reading them and following them when posting here? You've been breaking them a lot, unfortunately, that we eventually ban accounts that do that.
