Apple has a lot of staff doing hardware. That work is hard to do at home.

The testing & rapid prototyping equipment alone would take up more than most people's home office space.

Little known fact, Facebook, Google, Amazon, Microsoft are all huge hardware companies, Google alone spends ~10 Billion/year on datacenter CAPEX, with a lot of custom in-house hardware.

Why was the title editorialized? The article doesn’t say that. Do we have to push narrative here?

Yeah, it's an odd take. If anything, the article seems to be suggesting that Apple Park is merely one among a bunch of locations that will see employees return.
