I lived this type of lifestyle 10 years ago before it was cool. Now I am a workaholic and spend every waking moment running circles around people while coding.
As a general observation; after 5-10 years in software, you’ll observe that most new projects are similar to those you’ve done before, the impact is often low, and in many cases big projects don’t succeed due to factors utterly beyond anyones control.
If you keep up the workaholic attitude and don’t move frequently burnout is inevitable.
It's really saddening to see the Chinese government try to muffle a movement that might be well compatible with Cop26 measures in the name of economic growth.
