Does anyone believe these boosters will ever end? Covid is here to stay, regardless of how much we vaccinate and boost.
Meanwhile, from my understanding vaccination rates are still very low in the very populated Uttar Pradesh state in India [0]. Very few COVID cases compared to Europe, USA.
Same in many parts of Africa [1] where people also don't have much access to vaccinations.
Meanwhile the Western world is slowly moving towards a state in which people can't be part of society without getting a vaccination and n boosters.
In India their immune systems are probably stronger in general due to a general lack of sanitation. My mother grew up there, but after living in America for 30 years when she went back to visit and ate the same street food as her family she was the only one to get sick. They often warn visitors, in fact, to be careful around street food. While people from there can handle it fine, people who are used to dealing with an extremely sanitary environment, like Americans, cannot handle it. I wouldn't be surprised to hear there's a similar tolerance they might have to coronavirus infections. It's also why autoimmune disorders are more common in the first world than the third world
My issue is the booster (3rd shot and now 4th) shaming going on. As someone who is vaccinated I am still disturbed by the sanctimonious tone of shaming citizens who whatever reason don't do it. We have enough compelling evidence out there for the benefits of all vaccinations. Once we go down the route of shaming whole groups of vaccine hesitants it becomes an irreparable burden to society and manifests itself in manners beyond just health outcomes. Positive messaging works better than negative messaging in the long run. The Catholic Church eventually yielded to Galileo. But they did firebomb evangelical Cotton Mather's house in Boston who advocated vaccinations.
Does anyone know if Pfizer CEO and all of his relatives (including children) have 3-4 dozes of the vaccine? And also all members of the board of directors and C* suits and their relatives?
Is there any verifiable documentation for this somewhere?
