I understand there's a lot more to it but I use this to quickly switch between different repos. Good enough for me to wonder why it isn't a standard feature

A tangential complaint: I wish we could get away from the idea of a "rootPath" when defining projects and have a list of paths per project instead.

Why did I think this would be like having a project manager at work checking for status updates on my progress for something

From the title alone I also assumed some sort of organizational management tooling. I'm not sure how that would be achieved in the context of a code editor, so the actual plugin makes much more sense.
