Ask HN: What’s your favourite productivity app and why?

My calendar for blocking out time in big enough chunks to get things done and not feel stressed.

vi, because with it I can program the computer to do work for me automatically, which I would otherwise have to do manually.

Org-mode. An operating system for life.

TickTick

Because I can catalogue and schedule all my tasks in one place. Before, I needed some combination of a calendar, to-do, notes and reminder apps. But now, I just use TickTick.

For comparison, I used Todoist prior but found the free tier more limiting than TickTick.
