Just pull out those pesky GSM/WiFi antennas and it will stop.
Can you recommend any good guides for that? The only other option I heard about was pulling the fuse controlling the GSM and radio.
Find a workshop manual for your car and it will be drawn inside it. Because car is more-less a faraday cage, there are coax cables [0] going from ECUs to antennas. Some ECUs, like eCall have also backup GSM antenna integrated, but you will see the PCB antenna just next to GSM / GPS connector. On VAG cars it is usually easy to remove as well.

Are workshop manuals limited to authorized service dealers somehow? I'm curious how difficult they are to find
I would just get the Haynes manual from the public library when I used to work on my own car. Wouldn't that have the necessary details?
