bait de la click
Yep, WSJ should be called out on their shit. From the title I thought he had been physically attacked or was dealing with some chronic illness. He's just struggling with recent publicity but from the excerpts he seems to be in an overall good mood.

I'm no Zuck fan but this is an obvious attempt to paint him in as negative a light as possible, very silly and petty.

Ninja edit and random shower thought: How many times would a specific website have to be caught peddling clickbait or misinfo before dang just decides to blacklist it?

When you create a company which provides negative value to the world, it will feel like that.
I find this quote especially interesting

>Mr. Zuckerberg also said he sometimes struggles with the onslaught of negative feedback he gets from social media.

“You don’t want to be so closed that you’re not listening to criticism because then you’re not going to grow,” he said. “But I think finding people and outlets that will provide criticism, but from a place of actually trying to help you grow rather than tear you down, is very rare.”

That's because he's eliminated all that from his life. He is King of Facebook, engineered it that way and listened to dark people's advice to make it so.

I'll feel a little tiny bit of sympathy for that robot when he acts like he means it and turns his fiefdom into a center of positivity instead of profit.

If Larry Ellison and Peter Thiel are people you'll take advice from, and you don't see that as a problem, stop whining that you feel punched in the gut every morning. You are way past morality and giving a shit about your soul.

Data knew the difference, so did Lore. Why do we think Mark is different?

The gardener does not encourage weeds to move somewhere else.

They rip them out of the ground with extreme prejudice.

We are gardeners. Facebook is the Kudzu.

If you also didn't know the kudzu term -

> Kudzu is a group of climbing, coiling, and trailing deciduous perennial vines native to much of East Asia, Southeast Asia, and some Pacific islands, but invasive in many parts of the world, primarily North America.

Heh, reminds me of Crime and Punishment.
Such a tangible experience of shame/regret/guilt Too real
READING NEWS in the morning, not "waking up" Mis-leading Clickbait headline
Due to HN max title character limits I had to chop up the title, no click bait intended.
