“Disinformation” means … what exactly?

It seems to be anything the government finds inconvenient, whether that be related to political corruption, taxes, health, education, politicization of institutions, bodily autonomy, sexual assault, politicians taking bribes, war crimes, etc.

The Digital Services Act (DSA) defines disinformation as ‘false, inaccurate, or misleading information designed, presented and promoted to intentionally cause public harm or for profit’. The DSA requires social media companies to remove disinformation and other illegal content within 24 hours. In the case of Germany, illegal content would also include holocaust denial, hate speech, and speech that facilitates overthrowing democracy.
