Marques Brownlee recently drove one of these for his Auto Focus channel [0]

0-200mph in 10 seconds…crazy stuff. It feels quite apt that Rimac is now part of Bugatti given this seems like the electric equivalent of the Chiron.

His face at the end of the first run is very funny. But with 100 miles range I think I would like the 911 a lot more. Not that I have that kind of money.

I took away that it was 100 miles in Track Mode. In Range Mode it was a lot more. Not sure how much.

Ah that makes more sense, yes then it would have quite a bit more probably as much as two or three times that in 'regular' mode.

The C&D article suggests 205 miles, which is presumably a brand new battery in warm climate.

I'm not a car guy, and I loved Marques' video, too... but for $2.x million, you'd hope road mode would give you a bit more rope. Tesla S has different tiers, but they all seem to be over 400 miles.

This seems more like a bucket list experience. Go to a closed track, pay high three-figures, sign six forms, drive really fast for an hour.

I don't care how much you're worth; driving a $2.xM car around is just asking for fate to slap you down. I would have stress nightmares.

Jerry Seinfeld knows what I mean.

I don't think the requirements are the same for this and a Tesla (or a VW). You are not buying groceries with this. This is a toy you drive in order to drive it, not in order to get somewhere far.

Yes, this is how marketing works. Brands try to expand the appeal of their products beyond their existing user base.

At 250 most things want to fly and if they aren't really well designed to stay on the ground they may do just that.

Lol, I didn't know the meaning of Pajero in Spanish. It was a popular SUV among the rich and famous in India back in the day. Given their driving shenanigans with the vehicle, the meaning seems apt.
