Low quality rambling in the article. You can make the same claims about any company that produces and sells their products in China. The size of its market is already a factor in itself.
Using Apple as an example, even if they move all manufacturing out China, would they stop selling their products there and give up on 1/4 of their profits? This would be extremely unlikely. And unwise for any business.
