The War is over. It had been for about a year now.

US and Europe won (crippled Russia without loosing single soldier and spending just a bit of money).

Russia lost (diminishing industrial base and costly hot border for years to come).

Ukraine lost even more (population halved to 24 mil, with terrible demographics, diminished tax base).

So the West can safely lose interest in Ukraine now…

What part of Russia is crippled? Their GDP is growing and they’ve captured the Russian speaking regions they wanted. Only downside I’ve seen is they retreated from their naval base but they will be back at ceasefire.
I’m amazed that people make this assessment. Russia is in complete and uninterrupted free fall, and it only barely manages to keep up appearances if you exclusively consume their state media.
There is a lot of fear mongering, denialism and unreliable data.

Poland is safe - because of Stalin's enormous ethnic cleansings and shifting of borders to the west after WW2.
