If this is true, there need to be repercussions for the perpetrators. If this is true, it's going to be hard to turn this company around. It means the management is rotten and needs to be replaced top-to-bottom, else it'll slowly devolve into a has been company and we'll be left with AirBus and who knows who else, a mix of Chinese, Russian and maybe Brazilian or Japanese alternatives, if they can ramp up over 15 to 20 years.
They probably had private investigators following him and scrutinizing everything he did and has done. Also they were likely attacking him in the questioning/testimony. PIs could have also bugged his places.
This can lead to significant stress and it can seem never ending, and it can push people over the edge if it is sustained stress. This can hurt the other aspects of his life making, possibly hurting his ability to make money. So it could easily push him to suicide.
That seems like an IMMENSE stretch. For a mentally healthy person PIs following you around could be weird, threatening, scary, etc - but enough to make you kill yourself? Celebrities face worse and longer harassment and attention from fans and paparazzi and don't seem to kill themselves that often.
Much more plausible to think Boeing killed him in my opinion.
I mean I don't know that celebrities have to deal with pis entering the home and dropping bugs
A pi that is going to enter someone's home and drop a bug is the same kind of "PI" that can enter a home and simulate a suicide
So the level of stress of such a person would be higher than we expect for the level of stress of a celebrity. Also keep in mind that celebrities have advocates and support networks that can help them cope with paparazzi, while very few civilians have the kind of support networks that can help them cope with potential assassins.
So we're dealing with a higher likelihood of the kind of stress that can lead to suicide, and also a higher likelihood of the kind of adversary that could lead to murder.
The more I learn about this, the more I realize that Boeing executives need to be charged with murder and treated as if they armed and dangerous: they are not above silencing any detractors, and have the money and means to make it happen.
If any of us did this an executive role, we'd be fucked, even if it was somebody notable like pg. Why are they still walking around free, when we wouldn't be given the same? I don't find "part of the military industrial complex" a particularly useful answer.
