Devil's advocate: That is mentioned in a section of what they aren't trying to do in this repo. That said, I agree that is something this will inevitably be used for and wish for a day that will probably never come where technology isn't sending us head first into a fairly dystopian future.
We don't stab people not because we don't have knives, but because of laws and penalties. It's always been possible to spy on employees, well before AI/LLMs.
My dad told me once "Son. You don't get in trouble if you don't get caught". He was in real life expressing annoyance at having to punish me for something dumb, but my preferred interpretation is that morality transcends law.
FWIW, I have been working on a variation that is supposed to be eventually on a similar topic, but it is confined to a specific terminal - https://github.com/ayourtch/prompter
For the time being it doesn’t do much other than intercepting the input/output, and is a bit buggy at that - so, no LLM there :)
But posting anyhow in case it can be useful for someone to avoid reinventing the plumbing.

EDIT: To make it clear, my point is that the description could have been clearer, especially regarding the Python dependency.

Why so quick to condemn?
