I fully agree with this article. We are at the point were our living standards (rich countries) need to take a hit, but I say 99% people alive now will never what to see their living standards go down.
Without real political commitment nothing will ever be done. Maybe when Miami FL is under 5 feet of water all year round, maybe then something will start.
Sorry kids, but my parents and a good portion of my generation elected Reagan. He did all he could to stop Pres Carter's little bit of Global Warming initiative in 1980. I also blame Ted Kennedy a little bit for Reagan. If Carter was re-elected maybe we would be in a different place.
