At some point shareholders should start suing. How is this in anyone's interest?
This kind of behaviour just bolsters the case that copyright is too long.
We at least need an abandonment clause to copyright law for software. If you no longer produce copies of a thing for sale, then you lose the copyright after a certain reduced period.
Definitively, some legal status for abandonware.
Are you good if already purchased before the delisting date?
