I can't believe lawmakers are focused on this when there is a nationwide rash of incidents where some lady breaks into a child's bedroom to steal their teeth. Leaving a quarter does NOT absolve anything
This is exactly what we said was going to happen. It's a regressive tooth tax after considering the opportunity cost (let's not pretend a quarter has any meaningful value).

The payout needs to be inflation adjusted.

I mean, it's not really without precedence, is it? It's also illegal to kill a sasquatch for example.

Surprised by Rhode Island, New Hampshire not a surprise. I doubt it will pass in RI, New Hampshire, you never know. NH has a rather unique legislature compared to the other States. But I tend to think it will not pass there either.
