The analogy fails where it hits the expectation that currency should be geographically fungible.
Certainly more reliable than shitcoins. And I'm talking from a country with rolling blackouts given the disingenuous name "loadshedding".

Electricity is actually useful, actually has some value. Shitcoins, not so much.
