Can anybody please post the languages that are accepted? From what I have seen in some examples its only c++ ?
We support a variety of languages (https://www.hackerrank.com/environment) Can you tell me which examples you're talking about?
Any chance of adding Common Lisp?
Yes, very soon. I'll keep you posted. What'd be the best way to update you once we go live on this?
Please add Erlang as well.
I'll add a tickler to my calendar to check your site once or twice a week. Thanks!
If you are taking requests, Go would be nice as well.
You have ones listed that aren't available in the example picker. Do you still support the other languages by manually uploading? Any specifics we should know about.

I am interested in using Javascript fyi.

I'd love to be able to use D. Should be a dead simple port from C/C++.
Any chance you can add F# to the supported languages list? It runs just fine on the same Mono/Ubuntu setup you have for C#. All you need to do is install from the Github distribution: https://github.com/fsharp/fsharp

If you have any questions about setting it up, send a message to the `fsharp-opensource` group (https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/fsharp-op...) and we'll provide whatever help you need.

And if you guys do add F# support, send out a tweet with the `#fsharp` hashtag -- many F#'ers watch that hashtag for F# news/announcements.

Your github account doesn't share enough information, please use legacy account.
What does that mean?
Your e-mail address isn't being shared via github auth
Is the fix to go to https://github.com/settings/profile and put an email in the field labeled "Email (will be public)" ?

How does Coderwall allow github signups without me sacrificing an email to the public?

It looks cool, though there are still some things to fix. In split view, I wasn't able to test out the code. Also, I tried opening a link on the bottom in a new tab, but it opened in the current tab, causing me to lose my work.
Sorry about that. We're just coding up local storage of code. Can you tell me which browser you were using during the code testing?
Vivek, I tried signing up using Github but it threw the following error:

The change you wanted was rejected.

Maybe you tried to change something you didn't have access to.

Did you guys look at the AI Challenge that was done by the guys over at the University of Waterloo (aichallenge.org)? I thought those competitions were extremely well done, and have been disappointed that they haven't come out with any new ones recently.
Yep, loved the ants challenge. We'll hopefully take the best of their concept and add it up on our site. This is our first contest (hackerrank.com/thanksgiving)
Love the Norman Rockwell reference.
I was thinking about the same thing recently, and checked out their forums, only to learn that some kind of general organizational debacle has delayed the games indefinitely.

The core team of contest organizers is disbanded. Some of them cannot be contacted for a months and without them there can be no development (this is no about skills but about rights and ownership). - http://forums.aichallenge.org/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=3632#...
