Last week they shut down a free email host of 25 years by saying it supported terrorist groups and therefore it was illegal for them to use banks.

It's been a claim for a long time. They used to claim that in the UK with people selling DVD's in pubs.

This worked out so well in Spain that the ISPs are suing the government for it.

They tired this in the UK. I can get to a mirror of any pirate site without issue without a VPN. It ends up being a game of whackamole.
