Do you think disrupting an organized protest is inherently egregious?
Probably time to reinvent the license plate as a concept; or start spinning up LLC's to put the cars under and just each the extra insurance costs.
Show me the incentives and I will show you the outcome.
I like to save my resignations for the whole "you can't fire me, I quit" part - when the fall is all thats left, it matters a great deal.
Its abundantly clear that narrative is being driven. Its much less clear why, or by who.
I feel like this argument could have legs, but I can also see some easy counter points depending on how you proceed with it. Thank you regardless, as this made me think for a bit.
The lottery is a tax on people with poor judgement skills and I'm not comfortable with the state taking direct advantage of its vulnerable citizens.
Why would you be worried? I've got The Right Stuff.
Who hated on the MAX? Other than it being a cattle car pre-covid and shutting down at like 10 or 11 everyone I knew liked it; There were more and more issues with the homeless, sure, but I don't know many portlanders…
As soon as they dropped the Nexus line, things went downhill fast. IMO the nexus 5 was peak android.
This is an unfathomably based take, and you have improved my day significantly. Thanks.

I think I'll run my gaming computer on its own isolated network and do a reinstall of Win10 every month or so rather than install Win11 (or pay MS for patches lol; like wtf, I might pirate those just out of principal).…
At the very least it was such an obvious connection that ruling it out should have been an early step; when the PRC clammed up, and stopped letting any data out that should have been seen as the attempt at a cover-up…
I wouldn't mind going back, but I can't re-live the horrors of windows 8 or 8.1 ever again.
Those are some impressive maps, with tons of foreshadowing, barely 9 days into the conflict.
Sure, just ctrl-z the last ~60 years of population growth around the world; should be easy to get those chicken numbers under control then.
I have been "advocating" (i.e. complaining) for better REPLs basically the entire time I've been writing code - One of my favorite pasttimes is getting all flustered and trying to throw enough extensions and custom code…
Hah, this is me :) Half the time I start by just writing comments explaining what I'm about to try and do, then I go back and add comments about how things did not go as expected, and what I had to do to get it to…
