I use this service weekly and have had next to no issues for several months now. The quality is as good as my local grocer, although I still prefer to visit there for fresh meat or bakery items; the stuff you get online…
The ability in these games to import a character from a prior game's save state was incredible and is something I haven't seen in games since. Unlocking the special character class for doing so (paladin) led to hidden…
I almost bought into Imperfect Produce, too, what a bad taste in my mouth that would have left. Thanks for the good read.
Thank you for the recommendation for a Google Keep replacement, I've migrated over to standard notes.
This is a remarkable idea. I could think of no one better, but then again, I haven't really thought about this sort of thing. Bias or no, if it wouldn't impede on what is clearly something we should consider a World…
He mentions a subreddit dedicated to no rules slowly but surely being taken over by the same kinds of rules lawyer-ing they were trying to escape. I am so, so glad he mentioned this, because I have seen it happen to…
Sometimes these businesses work because of people like the OP, who shoulders the burden of a bad decision maker for years. We're celebrating one of our big company milestones and we're no different. The decision makers…
This is amusing to me, since a good number of people believe it was definitely slaves, and 'definitely' the Jewish slaves mentioned in the bible. I would have been overjoyed to learn that the pyramids were a stimulus…
"OK, Google" is perhaps the strangest thing to be so commonplace. It will sometimes interpret the shorttalk mumbling I have become accustom to when speaking to my siblings and will go on to loudly interject that it had…
I've had friends lose jobs in Amazon warehouses over their aggressive research and development of an all-machine packaging line. They do work now that requires the precision of a human hand and eye, but that job may…
I was born a hundred years after this was gifted to America. When I was young, about the same time my elementary school class could have been covering the importance of France as it related to American Independence, pop…
The fact that "Paypal Credit" is my default payment choice bothers me to no end. If you explicitly select anything else, it demands you log in even after logging in on most sites. I never thought I'd be on the receiving…
Dropbox makes it easy for me to sync and share files (specifically funny meme images), I haven't found anything else that works the same way but without the, ah, interesting government aid. I've never heard of…
Good point on that last part. It's amazing that EzBoards exist in this day in age, in any form, but we've yet to figure out an easy way to gobble things up; I can get my own wikipedia site started in under 10 minutes…
Six hours on and not a single comment. I think it's pretty fitting, to be honest. "Despite the impact of Snowden's disclosures, the general consensus among experts in the intelligence community holds that no amount of…
No kidding, right? I am not sure I can respect his interests and goals as an innovator when this is a week or two after the latest Facebook drama.
That seemed odd to me until I compared it with the passage before it; that Fukushima grows much of the agriculture in Japan seems startling enough, but then I don't claim to know much about radioactive fallout and…
I want to do this. I want to give these guys my e-mail address and some basic info and see all of my health data charted out... But I did that with Google Health and it went the way of the dinosaur. IS there a consensus…
Microsoft keeping Gabe happy with the surface line is probably one of their top 5 PR priorities for the devices. I am not surprised by this post in the least, but I am glad that Gabe is going to get something he can use…
I love the look and feel! I'd love for it to come to Android.
This looks pretty good! I am only on Flickr because a better alternative hasn't come out yet. I just want to be able to easily upload tens of thousands of older photos and organize them into galleries with a nice little…
This doesn't surprise me, much. We were approached by officials from Qatar for an SaaS of sorts, and we learned all about their culture or perhaps, more specifically, their funding. There's so much money in Qatar and so…
The only thing tying me to Yahoo at all anymore is Flickr, and I somewhat hope it goes under just so I get some sort of archival download of my content and a reason to finally find something better.
As a young 20-something moving out into a place of my own in this day and age, I considered their cheap furniture more of a charity than anything else. I guess a soup kitchen would have been the next thing available to…
