Personally, I’ve found a balance between saving and investing for the future and actually spending money on experiences and enjoying life. Life is short, and it can come to an end pretty unexpectedly.
I just try to set aside at least an hour a day to learn something new or pick up a new programming language. If I’m not feeling up to that, I’ll watch some science stuff or just read a book.
And to think that back then, those weak computers took up entire floors of institutes, with ponds just for cooling them...
