It's so strange that in the age of the internet, we still can't find out how North Koreans live directly from them. It's crazy, but at the same time, it's so fascinating.
In the movie Ex Machina, the android does have empathy, but it acts entirely in its own self-interest. So you're right, a human's interests and well-being should come first.

Nvidia buying Hugging Face would give them even more control over the AI ecosystem. The big question is whether Hugging Face could remain truly neutral once it’s owned by a chipmaker with plenty of competitors.
Personally, I think AI is a great tool for speeding up my work or translating an article so I can better understand what’s going on.
One thing I just don’t get is why these obvious conclusions don’t occur to the people who decided to use AI tools for hiring. They must understand all of this, but it benefits them, so they just go for the short-term…
