Where do you draw the line between marketing vs flat out lies? There's a conflict of interest between consumer and sales person. I just tire of the subterfuge.
The hardest part of getting people to do this is people dont want backups. They want restores.

In IT, changed career goals to a less demanding role, including a new team, manager, etc. Its amazing how refreshing a change like that can be.
