I have read Asimov for a very long time and am an avid fan. This is truly the closest I have ever gotten to that same high.
Reading Chekhov's 'Ionych' really feels like it strikes something hard, his ability to find these feelings in words and put them in the "Russian pragma[tism]" is a just so.
