Unbelievable opinion from a top mathematician. Has nothing to do with science, which is in pursuit of progress. In contrast, the post is political, polarising “true” vs. “AI prompters who have no interest”, luddite even.
The thing is O/A have been much louder on pacing the frontier, lately. And yes, open weights are still behind, but are catching up.
