Dune: Spice War's codename being "d4x" , this statement is absolutely fair :)
Well it's France.. when there's no parking spot sidewalks and bikelanes become parking spots..
That's also part of the issue here: we _are_ getting new [useless] features for the sake of new features lately: stickers, stories, crypto currency support are the main ones that come to mind atm. And a formatting…
That his research subject has not given "proper" scientific results yet (or ever) doesn't make him a fraud. We wouldn't go far if researchers could only research proven concepts.
_We_ are in danger of ending up living on a planet that is much less human friendly
Same date here, but I don't even think they locked mine. I did give up too, but not on physical keyboard phones. I bought a unihertz titan pocket and I love it. Keyboard is great despite the top row that is really weird…
Same here, was puzzled too and had to add "wavelength" to complete today's words.
Looks like a nice use case for eink IMO, as I don't see the point of having video playing under my keys but having keycaps that can change depending on the context sounds nice.
I also don't like where this is going, and can't see any way to make it stop. Maybe some of these illustrators may see their job evolve from content creation to AI training through their art / vision.
It's still bad enough imo when it comes to respecting copyright / intellectual property, so not a surprise at all they're doing this to illustrators now :/ Not that they're the only ones doing it these days, admittedly.
I was half expecting a very short entry basically saying "Well, most of the times, I don't."
Browsers provide the tool to save those pages (ctrl+s), in what way is it different? Honest question, as I'm building something that could be impacted.
I'm experimenting with that right now on firefox with userChrome.css changes, and it's starting to work: /* Kinda unrelated, but I'm using this to go with Sidebery / Tree Style Tab */ #TabsToolbar { visibility:…
Funny timing for me to see this on HN today After some years of love/hate relationship with Vivaldi, I'm currently trying (once again...) to go back to Firefox after one too many chrome-based browsers fuck-up: opening…
If only we could set a specific password that if used would wipe the entire device..
Now that's the kind of inequality I can live with.
Good luck bisecting such a repository, unless you squash PRs (for which build passes of course)
This might be a good argument for keeping tests as a separate repository. Which would bring a lot more problems of its own, though...
I agree to some extent. But it doesn't strike me as strange to use such terms for a behavior which is endemic in a country with a very bad rate of morbid obesity which could well be linked to such behavior.
Why would calling 1/4 of extremely unhealthy consumption "highly unhealthy" that strange?
Yeah, "wildly" (as in _very_) foreign languages work well. I'm glad I discovered The Hu (for example [0] -- edit: forgot about the intro on this one, might want to fast forward a minute), with which I am usually not…
Lately I often switch from metal to "viking/norse" music for programming. I would recommend a lot of what ends up in Fimbul Radio [0], and it being a radio takes away the burden of choosing what to hear / when to…
Would definitely also recommend Finntroll (especially this album) and Alestorm (wearing a we are here to drink your beer t-shirt right now xD) too! Some Korpiklaani could fit this playlist pretty well I think.
And the colleague that just came out of it looks at you with a big grin saying "Good luck!" (true story.. x_x)
That, and also workout during compilation. Which does also seem good for concentration, so win-win?
