I prefer Thunderbird. It doesn't need the app password for Gmail. With a bit of effort to you can make it auto open and close via scheduled commands to do a daily sync, or just leave it open.
Would be more interesting to know what the actual damage from these different sources are, rather than just is one cherry-picked statistic. And where are wind and solar?
Get an 8 bit microcontroller dev board for a few bucks and learn how to control the peripherals. AVR are good and there is a lot of material online to learn from. Sorry I don't know any books.
Not the first, and won't be the last. We have to stop this madness.
It's missed the boat for being the first long range affordable EV. Hyundai got there first with the Kona, which has the range of the more expensive Model 3 Long Range but at the price of the cheaper Short Range one.…
Kona confirmed for 7.4 0-100.
The Model 3 is looking a bit over priced now, with cars like the Kona and coming Lead 64 offering similar features, performance and better range for less money.
In Chrome just go to settings, accessibility and increase the font size. Works on my android phone.
I have the same experience working in an office job. The best thing I have found is to carefully manage my energy to avoid the boom/bust cycle, but it's only partially effective. The best thing would be to simply work…
One technique I have found works is to do incorporate your own open source code into your work. Then when they want to see samples you have commercial quality code that isn't company property.
Wow. Bullying, sexual harassment, all the usual stuff. How are people still getting away with this for so long? Didn't they even notice the high turnover and Glassdoor reviews?
I was hoping it was a replacement for Unicode... Unicode is so broken that we need something new.
The new Leaf isn't ugly at all, it looks quite good. Decent performance too.
Gnome saw how terrible Windows 8's start screen was and decided to double down on the phone style app drawer. Then for good measure threw on the space wasting task bar from MacOS. Oh, and then in Ubuntu the window…
This. I tried every major Linux distro recently, and every one had really basic problems. For example, Ubuntu and Mint don't let you configure the mouse wheel scroll speed. There are hacks but none work reliably. Do all…
In the long run it saves money on cleaning and dealing with the health consequences. Like all infrastructure projects there is an initial outlay.
Not really a problem. Putting chargers in every space in a car park is pretty cheap, they are basically just circuit breakers or even just ordinary domestic style sockets. Throw in a few fast ones for the people who…
I am on my second Nissan Leaf and can tell you that your concerns are largely unfounded. Most charging is opportunistic, and when you do need to do a big evacuation a Tesla sized battery can last longer than you can…
I don't buy it. If you need to shave some bytes the first thing you do is look at the map file or run a binary analysis tool to figure out what the best candidates for optimisation are. And if your performance is poor…
Well there analysis wasn't very good, was it? It was her company and it's come back to hurt her years later. Note she fails to mention the settlement in her denial, giving a misleading version of events.
Give us one example of someone wrongly punished who was denied due process. The example in the link is flat out wrong. See my comment above.
If you are so concerned about romance you don't even have to ask with words. Just lean in slowly, so it's obvious what you want to do, and check their reaction. Tell us, how do you normally determine if she wants to…
In this case the author of the article made an incorrect assumption. There was an imbalance of power. Journalists need access to politicians to do their jobs. They need professional relationships, they need to be at…
These tests favour people who are good at tests. I know people who test will, crank out code fast, but I'm the long run they suck because they didn't think about it enough. I'll point a company at my sample code. They…
TL;DR Chinese sites are just as bad as western ones.
