I think it's very idealistic to assume that the us has moved to accept rule of law or limitations when it comes ones to foreign policy and spying. We've had a sufficient examples (prism, renditionS, etc)

To be fair, it's probably quicker to download and install chrome/ff/brave than to fix the absolutely user hostile default settings on edge.
That really isn't true anymore. Chi-fi iems changed the iem market pretty massively and you can get them with detachable cables for less than $20 these days.
The ui alone is basically enough for me to not touch it for a while. I dont need any of the new features and there are loads of anti features i tthe ui (rightclick menu, taskbar icons for more than 1 window, changing…
